Prayer Points

Pray for Our Church

  • For Focus: Pray that we will stay fixed and focused on the vision God has given us to make, mature, and mobilize more disciples into the community and around the world.

  • For Unity: Pray for our elders, pastors, staff, body, servants, partners, and denomination to work together to fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.

  • For Wisdom: Pray for wisdom for our leadership in both strategic planning and spiritual shepherding as we protect, lead, and guide the church together.

  • For Provision: Pray for financial provision and faithful stewardship so that we can carry out our mission of making disciples for decades and generations to come.

  • For Kingdom: Pray that God makes us useful and effective to reach the lost and transform the lives of thousands of kids, students, and adults for His glory and kingdom.

Pray for Our Country

  • Unity: Pray that God would unite His church regardless of the political landscape, demonstrating supernatural love to the watching world (Ephesians 4:1–6).

  • Hope: Pray that God would grant His people hope in Christ and in His power over and above princes, presidents, or earthly rulers or powers (Psalm 146:3).

  • Peace: Pray that God would cause His children to be peacemakers in every sector of society, promoting charity and unity despite diversity (Matthew 5:9).

  • Repentance: Pray that God would convict our country, bringing about godly sorrow and true repentance that leads to life (2 Timothy 2:25-26).

  • Reconciliation: Pray that God would reconcile more people to Himself, healing broken relationships and painful divides through Christ (Galatians 3:28).

  • Justice: Pray that God would exercise His perfect justice, righting every wrong and avenging every evil in our country and our world (Romans 12:19).

  • Mercy: Pray that God would exercise His perfect mercy, showing His favor and kindness toward those in misery and distress (Exodus 33:19).

Pray for Our World

  • For Those Who Are Afraid: The Bible calls us to trust the Lord and not be afraid because God is with us (Isaiah 41:10). Pray for those who are genuinely afraid and anxious that they encounter the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

  • For the Economic Impact: Many people find themselves struggling to make ends meet, are unemployed or losing significant business and income. Pray for wisdom and comfort in times of trouble and for God’s provisions to be seen by many (Job 38:41).

  • For Those Who Get / Are Sick: Pray for the healing of those who are sick. Pray that God would heal them and comfort them during their illness (James 5:14).

  • For Our Leaders: Whether it be for our local, state, and federal government leaders or church leaders. Pray that God would give them wisdom to lead and make important decisions that impact so many of us (1 Timothy 2:1).

  • For Wise Followers: While we may not understand or agree with some of the measures being enacted in our government, pray for God’s wisdom to direct our steps. (Romans 13:13).

  • For the Food Insecure: Pray that those who are most vulnerable would get access to food and that all of us would put our trust in God’s daily provisions (Matthew 6:11).

  • For Those with Addictions: In times of anxiety, it’s far too easy to turn to addictions to numb the pain. Pray that people turn to Jesus’ comfort and leadership rather than to temptation and addiction (1 Corinthians 10:13).

  • For Workers: Some of us work on the frontlines of keeping our communities safe. Pray that God would give them wisdom and keep them from harm (Psalm 23).

  • For God’s Mercy: What is God saying to us? Pray that we learn to hear his voice in this season. God often uses disruptive spaces to catch our attention and call us to a deeper intimacy with him, and that all would turn to him and his saving grace (John 10:4).
