Words of Life

The longer I’m a Christian the more I realize there’s nothing as comforting and powerful as the words of Jesus. Despite trials that surround us, His words are words of hope, words of comfort, and, according to John’s Gospel, words of life. They’re words of life because they describe how He is the Author of life and the Savior of the world. In John 6, Jesus makes the first of seven claims in the Gospel of John, saying, “I am the bread of life,” meaning that He is the substance and source of life and, in Him, we will never hunger or thirst again! Join us as we travel through time and journey to Jerusalem to hear the most powerful words ever spoken—the words of Jesus—and, as we hear them and believe in them, find that there is life in His name!
