Two thousand years ago, the Apostle John was banished to the Isle of Patmos for his faith. While there he wrote the book of Revelation. In it, he shares his experience of being, "in the Spirit on the Lord’s day,” John writes, “…and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet, saying, 'Write in a book what you see, and send it to the seven churches:’" (Rev. 1:10-11). The Lord proceeds to dictate seven letters, one to each church, commending, rebuking, exhorting and promising as He describes His expectations for them in order to truly be His church. These have rich lessons for us as a church and as individual members, if we seek to be His church. Join us as we’re challenged to “Be His Church” in our study of the 7 Letters of Revelation.
