Songs of Christmas
Whether we know music theory or not, music is an important part of life. Songs evoke feelings and songs have meaning and their lyrics, instrumentation, and rhythm combined are meant to be memorable to us and inspire us. Christmas songs, sung during the Christmas season, are no different and they remind us of the truths that we celebrate and consider during this time of year. This Advent season at Living Oaks, we will study the four songs found in Luke chapters 1 and 2 as we consider who sang them, what they mean, and how they impact and apply to our lives today.
