First John

Imagine, for a second, that you were one of the twelve disciples. Take, for example, John, the Son of Zebedee, and consider what it would have been like to be in Jesus’s inner circle. You would have seen Jesus walk on water, calm the sea, heal the sick, give sight to the blind, and, perhaps the greatest miracle of them all, rise from the dead. Thankfully, John shares those eyewitness experiences with us in order that we might believe that Jesus is the Son of God and we might know that we have eternal life. First John is an incredible little letter that gives Christians confidence in their Savior and assurance of their salvation.
