Women’s Leadership
Emily Ross, Women's Ministries Director
Emily serves as our volunteer Director of Women’s Ministries at Living Oaks. Emily is married to her husband, Paul, and they have four grown sons. Her heart is to connect with women of all ages and stages to the local church so that they can find their place and their purpose in Jesus Christ!
Deeanne Sutter, Assistant Director/Teaching Board Coordinator
It is my joy to serve the women of this community. I have been married over 25 years to Paul and we have adult children. I am honored to serve on our board, humbled to partner with our teachers and am priveledged to teach women of all ages and stages. I love seeing God at work in the lives, marriages and families here.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first the Jew and then the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH” — Romans 1:16-17
Mavelin Runnells
I love to serve the women of our area and Living Oaks Church. I have been married to my husband, Cary, for 24 years and we have 3 adult children, one grandbaby girl and two more on the way. I want to show all the ladies of our community how much they are loved by Jesus and the church. I also want them to have a place to connect and fellowship with other ladies while growing in their faith and friendships!
If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. — 1 Peter 4:11
Debbie Axen
I was recently provided an opportunity to join the women’s ministry team. I’m thrilled to be part of the team, serving the women of Living Oaks Church. Brad Axen and I have been married for 37 years. We have 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren. Jesus is our Lord and we strive to share his love for all!
He answered, love the Lord God with all your heart and soul and with all your strength and mind, love your neighbor as your self. — Luke 10:27
